These Air Fryer Peaches are so warm and gooey - they taste like eating the filling of peach pie! 😊 And they're SO simple to make. Sweet yellow peaches get topped with heart-healthy olive oil, vanilla, cinnamon and a bit of brown sugar, then cooked until they are caramelized to a golden brown!
A quick and easy treat to make during peach season ready in just minutes and lower in added sugar and saturated fats than most peach desserts.

As a dietitian, I love visiting the Farmers' Market to talk with the farmers and producers about what's in season and get ideas for how to prepare their harvests! And in the summertime when juicy peaches are abundant here in Texas, this air fryer peach recipe is one of my absolute favorite things to make.
You only need a few ingredients and 15 minutes to make peaches in the air fryer. Serve it up with ice cream for a delicious dessert, or add Greek yogurt and granola or nuts for a balanced breakfast or snack! This recipe is gluten-free, vegan, and rich in nutrients including vitamins A and C, antioxidants, fiber, and potassium. I hope this becomes a new favorite summer recipe for you! 😊
This was inspired by my Honey Cinnamon Air Fryer Pineapples and my Air Fryer Apples, a recipe I love to make in the fall during apple season. I had extra peaches and I wanted to do something similar but use peaches instead of apples. These pair well with my Homemade Granola which is made with a variety of nuts & seeds and sweetened with dates.

Key Ingredients and Substitutions
These Air Fryer Peaches without butter are made with simple ingredients. Below are some ingredient notes. Be sure to check the printable recipe card at the bottom for exact ingredient measurements and full recipe.
- Fresh Peaches - I suggest using yellow peaches which have a firmer flesh and hold up better to being cooked than white peaches. Riper peaches are sweeter, so look for a ripe peach! Learn more about how to pick your peach in the FAQ section of this post.
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil - we are using olive oil as a source of fat instead of butter to give this recipe a Mediterranean flare and to cut back on saturated fats that have been shown to have a negative impact on heart-health. Extra virgin olive oil is olive oil in its purest form (least processed) so it retains all the antioxidants and nutrients from the olive itself. Olive oil is high in oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat that can reduce inflammation and has been shown to improve brain health. If you prefer a more mild flavor, use avocado oil instead.
- Vanilla Extract - Vanilla extract amps up the sweet flavor and ties everything together.
- Brown Sugar - a little bit of brown sugar gives us the caramelization effect. You really don't need much here because the natural sweetness of the peaches will shine through. One of the things I love about this recipe is that it's a good way to satisfy your sweet tooth with less added sugars than a cobbler or pie. Feel free to use coconut sugar, maple syrup, or honey instead of brown sugar if you prefer.
- Cinnamon - cinnamon is optional. But in my opinion, you really can't beat the peaches & cinnamon sugar flavor duo. Cinnamon is a good source of antioxidants so it can help with immune health.
How to Make Air Fryer Peaches
Below are the instructions for how to make this Air Fryer Peaches Recipe with some visuals that I hope are helpful! Don't forget to check out the recipe card at the bottom for the full recipe
- Step 1 - Cut your peaches in half and remove the pits. There's no need to peel the peaches because the skin will get nice and soft when they are cooked, and the skin contains fiber and vitamins. But if you do prefer to peel them, now would be the time to do it!
- Step 2 - Coat the peach halves in olive oil and place them skin side down on a parchment paper lined air fryer basket. Air fry the peaches at 350℉ (177°C) for about 5 minutes to soften them.
- Step 3 - In a small bowl, mix the extra-virgin olive oil, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Step 4 - Evenly distribute the mixture on top of each peach half and put them back in the air fryer at 350℉ (177°C) for another 7-9 minutes until they are browned and easily pierced with a fork. Cooking time will vary slightly depending on your air fryer.
Hint: If you don't have an air fryer, make these in the oven by baking them at 350℉ (177°C) for 10 minutes, then add the filling and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
Dietitian Tip
Fresh fruit is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth - especially in the summertime when peaches and other stone fruits are in season! But eating fruit by itself can be boring. Make it more fun and elevate your fruit game with recipes like this one!😊
Variations
One of the best things about these easy air fryer peaches is you can customize to your taste! Below are some ideas, but feel free to get creative.
- Different Shapes - instead of halves, you can slice the peaches or dice them into large cubes!
- Honey Cinnamon- add a drizzle of honey on top to bring out the sweetness of the peaches even more!
- Bourbon - if you want, add a splash of bourbon to the mix! Bourbon is a popular flavor pairing with peaches and adds so much depth to the dish.
Equipment
You'll need an air fryer for this recipe. I have the Ninja AF101 which is 5 quart capacity and perfect for small recipes like these air-fried peaches. The Ninja DZ401 is great for a larger two-basket option.
If you prefer a different brand, I recommend COSORI.
Storage for Air Fryer Peaches
- Refrigerator - store leftover peaches in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Reheat on low in the air fryer, in the oven, or in the microwave.
How to Serve Air Fryer Peaches
You can eat these Air Fryer Peaches by themselves (I totally do)! But there are many different ways to serve them. The best way to eat them is the way you enjoy them. Here are some of my favorites:
- As a wholesome and delicious snack - enjoy warm peaches as a snack during stone fruit season by pairing them with plain Greek yogurt or Skyr (Icelandic yogurt). Add your favorite toppings! I like to enjoy it with a sprinkle of granola, usually my easy Hemp & Date Granola. If I don't have granola made, I will do walnuts, slivered almonds, or pecans. It's an easy snack that is a good balance of carbs, protein, heart-healthy fats that also support hormones and brain health.
- Easy Dessert - Air frying fruits is one of the best ways to make air fryer desserts because the sweetness of the fruits is amplified when they're cooked, leaving little reason to add much else! And these caramelized peaches make for a perfect summer dessert! Add a scoop of your favorite ice cream on top of the peach and finish with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, a little whipped cream, and some extra cinnamon.
- Breakfast - elevate a warm bowl of oatmeal by dicing up half of an air fryer peach and mixing it in. They are also the perfect addition on top of pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
- Savory - the sweetness of these peaches pairs nicely in a salad with fresh veggies, especially spinach and tomatoes. You can also use it as an accompaniment for meat by serving it on top of a chicken breast or chicken thighs with fresh mint.
Expert Tips
- Leave the skin on your peaches for extra fiber.
- For easy cleanup, line the air fryer basket with parchment paper sprayed with a cooking oil spray.
- To caramelize the peaches evenly, be sure the whole peach gets coated in the olive oil.
FAQ
While healthy means something different to everyone, these are a nutrient-rich option. Peaches are a good source of dietary fiber to support gut health. They also contain antioxidants and other nutrients including potassium and Vitamins A and C. Extra-virgin olive oil used in this recipe is a source of heart-healthy fats that have been shown to support brain health and hormone health. This recipe is also gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free. Nutrition information is included in the recipe card below.
Absolutely! Follow the same recipe and place the peaches on a parchment-lined baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray in the oven at 350℉ (177°C) for 10 minutes, then add the filling and cook for another 20-25 minutes.
Here are some tips for choosing the best peaches according to the Foundation for Fresh Produce: choose the peach with firm fuzzy skins that yield gently to pressure. Lane Southern Orchards taught me some more great tips: look for a reddish spot on the peach which shows where the sun could reach it. And if you make it home with underripe peaches, you can tell when they're ripe by giving them a sniff. They will give off a peachy aroma when they are ripe! If you don't smell that signature smell, the peaches aren't quite ripe yet so give them a day or two.

Tina
Delicious. I used less than 1 TBS of maple syrup in place of the brown sugar because the peaches were ripe and they were sweet on their own. I also used a tiny bit of bourbon. Great, simple recipe to transition from summer to fall!

Hi Tina,
Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review - it means so much to me that you enjoy the recipe! 😊 Those sound like great substitutions - I might just have to try it with some bourbon myself next time I make these. Thanks so much again and I hope you have a great day!
